#31: Don't think Republicans will fix the economy

So you're worried about the economy. And well you should be. The housing market's crashed. Greedy lenders have made stupid loans and are now whining for some help. Stupid people have borrowed too much money and are now whining for some help. Your 401K plan has tanked, and if you've managed to save any cash it's earning 2% somewhere. Meanwhile prices are rising and the dollar is falling . . .

Ergo . . . you might vote Republican in November?

WTF? Where have you been the past seven years? "Well, Bush isn't really a fiscal conservative . . ." Excuse me? He said he was. He still says he is. They ALL say they are. Guess what: They aren't! They just spend money in different ways--typically on war and tax breaks for the wealthy. That hasn't done a hell of a lot of good for your average Joes or average po' folks--and there's a lot more of them than rich people.
